I am involved with several global bioentrepreneurship education, research and practice initiatives and serve as the founding CEO and President of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs at Sopenet and Director of the Certificate Program in Bioinnovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. I am the cochairman of the 3rd International Bioentrepreneurship Education Summit and Associate Editor of the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology and Editor In Chief of Medscape Reference Otolaryngology.
I am a former Harvard-Macy fellow and In 2010, I completed a Fulbright at Kings Business, the commercialization office of technology transfer at Kings College in London. Publications this year include several articles in the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology and co-editor of a bioscience business casebook, "Building the Case for Biotechnology." "Optical Detection of Cancer", and " The Life Science Innovation Roadmap"
