Profile

Professional summary

Building on a dozen years experience in City government and another decade working in nonprofits foundations and research/policy organizations, I offer comprehensive, holistic consulting services to support the work of nonprofit organizations, local government, associations and other firms.

I provide a range of services, including strategic planning, program design and program management, organizational and professional development and public policy activities. My specialties are the education, workforce development and human services areas, but I am experienced in serving a wide range of organizations. My clients continue to credit me with my ability to bridge multiple needs they formerly sought different consultants for, such as strategy,

Engagement overview

I customize each engagement to the needs of my clients.   I specialize in comprehensive, holistic service to my public and third sector clients, in which one activity or engagement generally leads to a multi-service coaching and supportive relationship rather than a brief, transactional interaction.   My services include strategic planning, program design and development, program/project management, organizational development, professional development, facilitation, grantwriting, policy development and guidance and executive coaching, and I have served a range of roles for organizations including interim executive, start-up guru, internal auditor, truth-to-power-speaker, and jack-of-all-trades in the program and policy arena.   I often serve as the translator between government and business, the non-profit sector and private sector, and within organizations between operations and policy, finance and programs, and anywhere an organization faces communications and conceptual challenges.
