Do you have a 'leap' you need to take?
By 'leap' I mean take a risk, try something new, have a difficult conversation, ask for what you want, in general push the envelope of your happy, comfort zone. To really love your career, you need to be able to 'leap' - make courageous choices. My career has been a series of such leaps, so I am an experienced partner in coaching you to do the same. I help people to love their careers through strategic 'leap' taking, especially if you are a Geek Girl like me. It'd be my pleasure to help you create and manage a career that is worthy of your potential. I love to see people accomplish more than they thought they were capable of and to have careers that are just plain fun.
Your career takes up too much of your life to not love it. Do you love yours? I didn't love my first job as a nuclear engineer. I leapt quickly to new adventures like training astronauts, yes, at NASA's Johnson Space Center Houston. I've also taught Wharton MBAs how to present - more high achievers. Over the years I've acquired experience in talent management & organization development too.
I left my last corporate job, Sr Strategic Planner at Siemens, to start my own business. At Siemens, I worked with the senior team designing strategic plans and facilitating planning meetings.
My BS is in Physics from Georgetown and I graduated summa cum laude with a MBA, specializing in organizational development. This diverse background means that I can work with everyone from technical folks to executive teams.
Let me help you take your next leap and make your career take off.
