Rochelle has lived in Japan and worked with several organizations of all sizes, including some of the most prominent Japanese companies. She brings these first-hand insights gathered over two decades in her guidance to her clients.
Rochelle has taught courses in Organizational Behavior and Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University, and currently teaches Cross-Cultural Business Communication at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. She has authored over twenty books in Japanese. She writes for various publications, including regular columns for The Asahi Shimbun, The Nikkei Weekly, Staff Advisor, Global Manager, Teikoku News Daily, and U.S. Frontline News. She holds a B.A. from Yale University and has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
