Prior to joining DDPA, Tom spent over twenty years in various sales and marketing positions for major group health insurance carriers and as a welfare benefits consultant. His experience includes directing group sales and account management efforts covering virtually every region of the country including account management responsibility for many nationally recognized plan sponsors.
Tom received his BA from Benedictine University and an MA from the University of Illinois. In addition to writing numerous articles for industry trade publications, he has been interviewed often on a range of benefit topics and is a frequent speaker at industry events and webinars.
